Florida 4-H aspires to be the leading youth development program that creates positive change in youth, families, and communities.
Through Leon County 4-H, volunteers get a chance to help mold future generations of America’s leaders. The purpose of Leon County 4-H is to develop leadership, character, and good citizenship in children. To do this, volunteers participate in youth development programs and activities teaching children about:
- Healthy Lifestyle
- Environment Education
- Animal Science
- Civic Engagement
- Shooting Sports
- STEM Skills (Science Technology Engineering and Math)

Leon County 4-H volunteers are required to complete a background check when applying in order to ensure the safety of our children.
