Camp Bark-ly, a summer day camp for youngsters between the ages of six and 12, is sponsored by TREATS, Inc. It focuses on helping youngsters develop the skills to be a responsible pet owner and to be safe with animals.
The camp’s motto speaks volumes about its mission: Protect, Respect & Never Neglect Your Pets!
Most youngsters come to Camp Bark-ly with a wide variety of pets, but many come as a requirement their parents set before they are allowed to get a pet.
When campers graduate, they informally serve as humane educators. Through their good examples and actions, they spread the word about responsible pet ownership to their friends and classmates.
Camp Bark-ly enrollment fees help support educational outreach programs that promote the humane treatment of animals and responsible pet ownership. For more information about Camp Bark-ly, call 893-6518 or email firstname.lastname@example.org if you have questions about camp or to get Camp Bark-ly application paperwork mailed to your home.
