  • Master Wildlife Conservationist (MWC) Volunteer Program
    Are you interested in learning about our natural environment and teaching middle school students on field trips? Please consider enrolling NOW in our 2010 training class and volunteer program. Background training, field trip locations and field labs focus on the karst hydrogeology of the Wakulla Springshed (Leon Sinks, Wakulla Springs, Wakulla River), the upper springshed forests and streams (Lake Talquin State Forest, Apalachicola National Forest), and the coastal springshed marshes (St Marks National Wildlife Refuge). Student field trips are planned and conducted in partnership with participating middle schools in Leon and Wakulla counties, the UF-IFAS 4-H program in Leon and Wakulla counties, the LIFE Program (Learning in Florida’s Environment) staff at
